Of CounselJackson has been practicing law since 2010 and has represented a wide range of companies and individuals in complex commercial litigation in state and federal courts throughout the country. Jackson has served as lead counsel, and obtained favorable results, in a variety of cases, including defamation, commercial disputes ranging from breach of contract to statutory business conspiracy, declaratory judgment actions, matters involving defective construction, and numerous matters under the False Claims Act. After prevailing in a nearly two-week jury trial in the Summer of 2022, Jackson was part a team of four attorneys that were named Litigators of the Week by Law.com for securing a $61 million verdict against an international pharmaceutical giant under the False Claims Act. While Jackson’s practice is devoted exclusively to litigation, he focuses on finding creative and cost-efficient ways to achieve his client’s goals.

- United States ex rel. Streck v. Takeda Pharm. Am., Inc., et al., (N.D. Ill., Case No. 14-C-9412) (Successful prosecution of False Claims Act case against Astellas Pharma US, Inc. resulting in a $18 million settlement against Astellas).
- Blazer v. About Women, OBGYN, PC, 2019 Va. Unpub. LEXIS 9, 2019 WL 1417389 (March 28, 2019) (Successfully appealed matter where Supreme Court of Virginia reversed the Circuit Court’s award of sanctions against an attorney under Virginia’s version of Fed. R. Civ. P. 11 where Circuit Court erred in holding, as a matter of law, that the practice of gynecology could not be a “related” field to obstetrics).
- Minn. Lawyers Mut., Ins. Co. v. Protostorm, LLC, 2016 U.S. Dist. LEXIS 81888 (E.D. Va. June 22, 2016) (Successfully litigated matter where insurer was granted summary judgment in $10 million dispute over endorsement limiting coverage for acts or omissions occurring before a specified date).
- Chadwick L. Sawyer, et al. v. Lake Ivey, LLC, et al. (Circuit Court for Campbell County, Case No. 18000510-00) (Successfully argued for a directed verdict at conclusion of Plaintiff’s case-in-chief resulting in complete dismissal of all claims against Jackson’s client, which was, subsequently, upheld on appeal to the Supreme Court of Virginia)
- In addition to the above cases, Jackson has secured defense verdicts and verdicts in favor of plaintiffs in a variety of cases at both the Circuit Court and General District Court level in Virginia state courts.
